The new Segway Xaber 300 electric dirt bike made its debut at CES 2026, and it could be the hottest new ticket in the market.
Segway is known for the mobile stand-up vehicles that look like a lot of fun to ride around on sidewalks and malls. Once that item was a huge hit, the company began building conventional ebikes and other scooters, but now it has created an off-road electric motorcycle that could be a huge hit. It has the range, the power, and the fun that make heading on the trails a blast when you’ve got this electric dirt bike.
The e-dirt bike that you’ll love to ride
The Xaber 300 electric dirt bike from Segway brings virtual clutch control, parental apps, and 112-mile range to the off-road scene, but it’s strictly for 18+ and marked as “off-road only.” It’s being made with three power modes to be an equivalent of a 150, 200, and 300cc dirt bike, making it easy to have the power you want. You won’t need to trade for a new bike when you want to transition from one of the lower power modes; all you need to do is switch up the modes and keep riding the way you want. This makes the Segway Xaber 300 a great choice when you want an electric trail bike that you can progress with.
Power control where you need it
Because the Xaber 300 is an electric dirt bike, it doesn’t require a real clutch, but a virtual electronic clutch is present to allow experienced riders to mimic the functions of a real clutch for maximum power control. This gives them more control and better responsive riding experiences when on the trails, which is where this Segway dirt bike is meant to be ridden.
In addition to the virtual clutch, this lightweight electric dirt bike has a Traction Control System that allows riders to fine-tune the grip control to their desires. This means you can enjoy the bike on wet trails as well as when it’s dry, making it easy to adjust the bike to what you need that day.
The Segway Xaber 300 and its companion app
You’ll have access to a companion app for this new dirt bike, which allows you to adjust features and settings as desired. You can set the maximum wheelie angle, which means you can learn this skill and avoid the risk of falling off the back of the bike. You’ll also see a parental control app that allows you to set the speed limits and create a geofenced area in which the bike can be ridden. Just because the Xaber 300 is meant for the 18+ crowd doesn’t mean that they will be the only riders, and this gives parents a little more control when younger riders get on the bike.
The riding range is ideal for some off-road fun
The new Xaber 300 comes with a 112-mile riding range, which should be more than enough for a full day of fun on the trails. Nothing has been shared about how long it will take to charge the batteries yet, but if the motor uses a similar battery pack to the already successful Xyber, the charging time will be just under four hours to have that 112 miles renewed. You can easily tackle miles and miles of trails with that range, giving you the desired riding experience on some of your most fun and adventurous trails.
How much will the Segway Xaber 300 cost?
This new electric dirt bike should cost $5,300 when it hits the official Segway website. There hasn’t been an official release date set yet, but it’s expected to be available in the spring or summer of this year. If you choose this bike, it’s backed by a two-year warranty on the key components and a one-year warranty on the entire bike. That’s a pretty good deal considering it’s meant to be tossed around and thrashed on the trails.
The new Segway Xaber 300 took the stage at CES 2026 and gave the crowds something amazing to imagine riding on the trails. This electric dirt bike could be the next word in off-road adventures for many riders. With everything that’s included, you could have a great time and learn new skills while setting controls to ensure safety while on the bike.
Will you be ready to buy the Xaber 300 when it hits the Segway website later this year?
